Kelowna’s need for timely decisions, effective leadership, and clear vision drive Gail’s commitment to fill a seat on Kelowna City Council. She and her family share a longstanding passion for Kelowna and public service. Her experiences as a School Trustee and Store Manager of the Bay have provided core skills that will ensure a quick and effective transition to the City Council table.
Gail believes that to be most effective, Kelowna City Council must stay focused on the big picture. Council decisions must be constantly measured against the city’s vision, strategic plan and the needs of the greater population. Gail has the necessary experience and focus to meet these needs.
Gail continues to be inspired by the accomplishments and work ethic of her beloved late husband and former Kelowna City Councillor Brian Given but brings her own experience and knowledge to the table.
