Kelowna City Council, October 2018 Civic Elections

This October, Kelowna is heading to the polls. Gail Given has been serving the City of Kelowna for over 10 years as an elected official, first as a School Board Trustee, then for the past two terms as a City Councillor and Director on Regional District of Central Okanagan, most recently as Board Chair.

She is ready to share her energy and knowledge in guiding the City of Kelowna through the next four years.

In her first two terms, Gail has worked diligently to ensure that a strong strategic direction, effective delivery of service and robust growing economy continue to make Kelowna a great place to live, work and play. She is proud of the work done on Imagine Kelowna, the Journey Home Strategy, Healthy City Strategy and many other significant guiding documents that will shape the future of Kelowna. While the plans are in place there is still much work to be done in the coming four years.

It is critical to our future that we ensure a successful implementation of these strategies. Gail is excited for the opportunity to contribute to that process. Gail is therefore once again asking for your support to re-elect her for a third term so she may continue to bring her common-sense approach to the decisions of Council.
